The Business Office Manager is responsible for the financial and business office functions at our community as well as the oversight and management of our human resources department.
Candidates must have a care and compassion for the elderly population.
Successful candidates are proficient in time management, and excel in the ability to communicate.

Qualifications:
Organized, detailed-oriented and ability to multi-task.
Experience and maintenance of internal controls in areas of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and billing Responsibility for timely, complete, and accurate financial reporting Required Software proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel and Word Have prior knowledge of, or motivation to learn processes for assisting residents with qualifying for financial benefits (Medicaid, SSI) Oversee and manage the human resources functions of the property (including but not limited to compliance with HR paperwork, employee recruitment, oversight and implementation with building orientation, counseling and coaching of employees, processing and reporting related to semi-monthly payroll, management of worker's comp, oversight of safety program, tracking of employee training records, serve as community employee advocate for advice and resources, and other related HR tasks as assigned) Ability to maintain positive internal working relationships with department managers and the Executive Director Prior stable work experience as a business office manager Interpersonal skills in working with residents and families Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, government agencies and the general public Five years similar work experience (experience in a social work related field is helpful) Must possess effective verbal/written communication skills, solid mathematical skills Must meet all health requirements, including TB, and pass drug screening and background checks.
Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
Position will be based in Lake Placid, FL.
